What does it mean to live in alignment with our deepest motivation, in our practice and in life?
The metaphor of ‘gold’ is sometimes used to point to our ‘fundamental nature’. In this day of practice together we will explore the practice of meditation as a living process that ‘strips us back’ to uncover the depth of ‘who we are.’ We will have the opportunity to re-fresh or re-kindle our motivation for meditative practice.
What stirs and moves us to practice meditation? How can we be moved by inspiration rather than coercion or force?
What would it be to not hold back, to go for gold?
Jess Huon has been engaging in meditative and embodiment practices since she was seventeen years old in Asia, Australia, Spain, and the USA. She has trained in traditional Buddhist monastic settings and also within long periods of solitary forest practice. Holding a bachelor of Creative Arts, (VCA), and a post grad in the therapeutic arts practice, (RMIT), Jess brings traditional teaching alive in a fresh, accessible, and transformative manner.
