9:30-4:30pm
Sacred Heart Oratory, Abbotsford Convent
Let’s once again, gather in community and dive into our contemplative practice together!
There are times we can circle around our-selves like restless creatures looking for water.
During this day retreat there will be the opportunity to slow down, to stay right we are, and rest deeper than our sometimes compulsive and controlling mind.
Again and again, meditation practice asks us to return to a beginner’s mind – a fresh openness to meet our experience.
Practice can open us to a kind of dusk like beauty. The world’s incessant noise sleeps. Royal, wild animals feel safe to show themselves. They languidly prowl down and drink from hidden lakes.
Creatures lie back satisfied in the twilight.
Let us drink from regenerative waters.
The retreat will include
• Meditation instruction
• Sitting, walking and lying down meditation
