The heart has the power to arise, like the morning sun, through periods of darkness or aridness.
When the heart engages, tremendous warmth, energy and power can enter our practice. Our minds can settle with the pulsing of the heart.
In this day retreat we will explore practices to uncover the ‘aliveness’ of the heart. We will turn an eye to the undermining forces that anaethestize and dampen us down.
These ‘Metta’ practices raise the water mark of our capacity to feel for ourselves and others.
This can widen our sense of belonging in the world.
